These moments are so sweet – we love how a First Look can be so intimate. It’s one of the only times throughout the entire wedding where a couple is truly alone together. We always love it when couples want to take a beat and have some time alone during their reception, and we can photograph the oh-so-good just-married feels… Once the edge is off from all the buildup and momentum and nerves all day (frankly, all week and month long! ha!) and they can finally relax and it all starts to sink in: “We’re married!!” We get the best, most intimate photos during this time. The best part is: our approach to these moments is so natural and filled with movement, that we can capture sooo many frames in a short period of time. You don’t need to spend an hour at sunset to get amazing photos, and miss your entire reception… we sneak out and capture these amazing moments in sometimes only 15 minutes – truly! Plus, when you have that dreamy soft Napa light, it’s too good to pass up.
