Prices vary a lot: a newer wedding photographer in Northern California might charge around $2k, while the best Bay Area wedding photographers offering full-day, personalized coverage usually start around $5k and up.
Plan to spend about 10–15% of your total wedding budget on photography — it’s one of the only things you’ll keep forever, so it’s worth the investment.
Napa wedding photographer pricing usually starts around $4,000 for full-day professional coverage (and can go higher depending on what’s included).
What you’re really paying for is experience, editing style, and how supported you feel from the moment you inquire to the day your gallery drops.
We’re not just any Napa wedding photographers... we specialize in helping even the most camera-shy couples feel natural and confident in front of the lens.
If you love vibrant images with a nostalgic feel, you’re our type of couple! For the lovers who want that expressive, artistic look, we bring our 90's point and shoot cameras (in mint condition!) to capture the unfiltered and raw energy of the moment. Choosing your wedding photographer is a huge deal. We know you probably have a million questions for us, and we have answers! Click any of the questions below to reveal the intimate details of how we'll make your big day unforgettable.
The short answer… the ones that face west and give us open sky.
Not all Napa Valley venues are created equal when it comes to sunset. Some have gorgeous architecture but lose light early behind hills. Others open up into wide vineyard views that absolutely glow in the last 60 minutes of the day.
The best sunset venues are the ones with unobstructed vineyard views, elevated hillsides, or long rows of vines that catch that golden light. We always look at ceremony orientation, property layout, and where the sun actually drops before we even build your timeline.
Yes. And it is so good in wine country. We blend digital and 35mm film throughout the day. Film especially shines during golden hour, vineyard portraits, and champagne-spraying dance floor moments. It softens the light, deepens the tones, and adds that nostalgic, slightly imperfect energy that feels very wine country romance.
It’s not a gimmick add-on. It’s layered intentionally into the storytelling so your gallery feels timeless, textured, and emotionally rich. Napa + film just makes sense.
Napa is beautiful year-round, but each season has a personality. Spring is fresh and green. The vines are bright and lively. Summer brings long evenings and glowing sunsets, though it can be warm. Fall is iconic. Harvest season gives you richer tones and golden textures everywhere. Winter weddings feel moodier and intimate, especially with candlelight and misty hills.
There is no universal “best” season. The best time depends on whether you want lush green vines, golden harvest tones, or cozy romance. I help couples choose based on light, guest comfort, and overall vibe.
For multi-location Napa weddings, timing is everything. The 30-5 rule means allowing at least 30 minutes of transition time for every 5 miles of travel. Napa traffic, especially during peak season or harvest, is real. So are narrow vineyard roads and guest shuttles.
If you are getting ready at one location, marrying at another, and celebrating somewhere else, we build generous travel buffers into your timeline. Not because we expect chaos, but because we eliminate stress before it starts.
This is my favorite question. The backbone of the day is documentary. Real reactions. Real laughter. The in-between moments that no one can fake.
Then we layer in editorial direction when it matters. Couple portraits. Veil movement. A structured champagne moment. A clean architectural frame against a stone winery wall. That is where we step in with gentle guidance so you look elevated but never stiff.
You get both. Emotional honesty and magazine-level polish.
Because Napa deserves drama. And you deserve to still look like yourselves in it.
Working with them was easy, communication was so thorough and they had great recommendations. I was so grateful that they built out a whole photo schedule for our day and worked with me to tweak it a bit. It helped to have the photos scheduled so we were never rushed throughout the day. I also love that when they deliver the album online you can share the link right away with family and friends. Makes everything SO easy for sharing and you bet my instagram is packed with Onelove photos right now!

"After speaking with Sara, I knew we had to work together. I love that she has a network of photographers part of her One Love team, all trained by her to have the same aesthetic. This made me feel very comfortable knowing that I'd have the same results from anyone on her team. I chose Onelove because I love their style, light and airy, but..
