The Quintessential Rustic California Wedding. Meghan puts it absolutely beautifully in her own words:
My fiance, Ryan and I are both California born and raised. Him from Ojai and me from the Bay Area. We wanted our wedding to be quintessentially rustic California amongst oak, fig, olive trees, rolling foothills, sprawling meadows and open spaces.
Paso Robles wines, Belizean rum cocktails and Lagunitas beer are very special to Ry and my relationship and our families. Paso Robles is where I first met Ryan’s parents and where I had my first glass of Paso Robles wine. We frequently return to Paso for its beauty, amazing wines and to make new memories. It has inspired our wedding logo (two wine stain circles that are intersecting forming “The Perfect Blend”). Hence, we toasted with a bottle of wine from one of our favorite vineyards in Paso that has this perfect blend and the bottle itself is called Marriage.
And is this not the CUTEST First Look of all time with a bride and her dad?!
A lot the our decor for our wedding was inspired by Ryan and my adventures growing up and our trips together. Even though Ryan and I grew up in different parts of the state our backgrounds share a lot of parallels. With family and friends we spent our time exploring the outdoors by camping, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, river rafting, sailing, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving and riding around in our parent’s old Volkswagon vans. When we met it was instant and amazing and since then we haven’t stopped exploring together.
