This Indian wedding at Carneros Resort in Napa was simply magical! Shikha and Johan have SO much joy together —  it’s irresistible to photograph. As soon as they told us they were planning a big wedding with pastels and flowers woven into every aspect of the big day….in one of our favorite Napa wedding venues…in Summer?! We were in!

We are such a fan of the vibrant colors that are all over the wedding industry right now. It’s such a happy vibe and Shikha and Johan executed their vision beautifully. Congrats you two!

Watching Shikha Get Ready for Her Colorful Indian Wedding in Napa Was A Treat

We love the fine details in life, so it’s always a beautiful experience to witness an Indian bride get ready. The attention to detail is everything! From the elaborate henna design to the delicate care Shikha’s mother used as she helped her get ready…we could feel just how much everyone in the room loved the bride. Shikha’s first dress of the day (yes, we said first!) was an elegant masterpiece with hand-stitched pearls and beads woven into her dress and veil.

Johan and his groomsmen also cleaned up nicely! The groom chose to wear all white, to match his stunning bride, while his groomsmen wore complimentary pastel to match the bridesmaids. They had a blast taking fun photos together! Johan and his friends had us all laughing as they celebrated the big day.

Dancing the Day Away at a Carneros Resort Wedding

The reception was a blast, with the couple showing off their dance moves and setting a fun, lively vibe. The bride did a dress change between the wedding and the reception. Shikha looked absolutely stunning in her pastel gown, surrounded by her bridesmaids in bright pink pastel bridesmaid dresses fit for Summer in Napa.

The lush greenery provided the perfect backdrop, making everything feel dreamy and romantic. Every little detail was on point, creating an unforgettable day filled with love and joy. The Carneros Resort Napa has an amazing ballroom that is perfect for hot summer weddings to get down on the dance floor in the AC 😀

Then came the surprise dance from the bridesmaids. In their elegant pink dresses, they nailed a beautifully choreographed routine that had everyone cheering. The bride’s reaction was priceless—a perfect photo moment by our amazing photographers 🙂

Not to be outdone, the groomsmen took the floor next. They performed a high-energy dance that got the whole crowd clapping along. The groom, leading the charge with his infectious energy, was the star of the show, jumping and twirling, much to the delight of the guests. We were right there waiting to photograph every move, making sure these joyful moments were preserved forever.

Candid Wedding Moments To Cherish Forever

Our favorite part of the night is when we roam the room, capturing candid shots of guests sharing stories, laughing, and celebrating with the happy couple. The night was pure joy. There was dancing, heartfelt toasts, and plenty of wine—a nod to Napa’s famous vineyards.
