“The rolling hills, wandering animals, and eucalyptus trees showcased our love of nature and the outdoors. Additionally, our flowers represented our love of nature and our favorite time of the year, fall. Music was a huge part of our wedding. We wanted a live band to play all of our favorite tunes that we have enjoyed dancing to over the years. Many of the songs played remind us of a time in college, at concerts, and or our time in SF and we wanted to share those memories with the many people who we present at our wedding. The barn has such a cozy feel that we felt right at home when we toured. Family and friends are so important to us and we are so fortunate to be surrounded by a strong and loving community, we wanted our friends and family to feel the at home feeling that they have when they enter our home.”

“I didn’t grow up dreaming of my wedding nor my wedding dress. I had no idea what I wanted, but I did know I didn’t want to look like a cupcake. At only 5ft tall, I knew this was a possibility. After some research, I settled on seeking out a dress that is simple yet elegant. Something that fits the rustic vibe of the barn while also being chic. I found my perfect dress at Wild Bride in San Francisco. From the minute I stepped into the store and took in the bohemian decorations, I knew I would find my dream dress! And it was perfect. Flattering, elegant, boho, and simple!”

“Andy and I did a First Look and that came at the perfect time to relieve anxiety that I was experiencing because he is my comfort. We had so much fun taking those photos and checking out each other’s outfits and laughing and catching up on the day.”

“For Andy, he went to Vegas with his dad to get a custom made suit. A tradition his dad has with his 3 sons. While there, Andy learned that he could add photos to the lining of his jacket. He selected photos from the many adventures we have taken together as a couple that bring us many joyous memories. There is a picture of the 4 Runner we use when we explore and camp through the Utah desert, a photo of the sandwich we made and packed for the hike when we got engaged, and our feet hanging off an edge at the top of a hike in Patagonia, Argentina. All of these memories speak to our values and amazing memories. I was so surprised when I saw all of these happy memories collated together in a place that we will have forever. Additionally, on the inside of the collar is Y200 which is the name of the suit where we met and lived in college together. Seeing Andy in this jacket and him showing me all of these details during our first look, took me by surprise and brought me so much happiness.”

“The ceremony was beautiful and emotional. We both cried our way through it. It was a memorable moment to feel the love pulsing through the gathering of people as we cried and laughed.”

“In terms of food, we wanted California fresh food that showcases our love of food and cooking as well as the amazing fresh seasonal food we have here in Northern California.”
