As a same-sex couple from different religious backgrounds—one Jewish, one Catholic—their goal was to create a wedding that felt true to them while honoring their unique histories. Every detail, from their deeply personal ceremony to the elegant, minimalist design, was thoughtfully curated to celebrate their love, their families, and their journey together.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a great wedding without endless dancing! With guests traveling from all over to be part of their big day, they made sure it was a joyful, unforgettable celebration.

The First Look: Our Favorite Moment

If they had to choose a single favorite moment? Their first look.

They spent the morning apart, filled with anticipation and nerves. But the second they saw each other? Everything melted away.

“We became incredibly excited for the rest of the day and couldn’t wait to marry each other,” they shared. From that moment on, they focused on staying present, soaking in every smile, every laugh, and every happy tear—moments their photographer captured beautifully.

Looking back, they feel so incredibly lucky for the love and support of their family and friends, and for the memories they’ll cherish forever.

Advice for Future Couples

Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but their best advice? Focus on what truly matters.

“Everyone will have an opinion, and no matter what, cost will likely be a point of contention. Just really try to focus on what’s important to you and your partner and what makes you both the most comfortable.”

They emphasized the importance of creating a plan together, being mindful of family dynamics, and most of all, enjoying the process—especially the wedding day itself.

“It may seem overwhelming at times, but all the planning and hard work is worth it when you see everything come together. Don’t worry about the small things and make sure to enjoy the whole process as much as you can.”
