A Regal LA Wedding with Puppies and In-N-Out Burger Truck
Okayyy, when a wedding has the two things we LOVE most: puppies… and a late-night In-N-Out truck with burgers… we know it’s going to be amazing.
Jen and Chris wanted a timeless wedding with personal, playful touches that reflected their personalities. It was also important to them to include Korean wedding traditions to honor her heritage. Their wedding at The Ebell of Los Angeles featured a perfect mix of elegance and playful touches. But of course, our favorite details were how the couple included their dog, Jackie, in their big day!
A Princess Wedding Dress Fit for Daytime and Dancing
Jen’s wedding dress was a perfect match for the timeless beauty of The Ebell! Her princess-style wedding dress was covered in romantic lace detail and had removable sleeves and a chest sash, allowing Jen to effortlessly transition from the ceremony to the reception with two looks in one. “My wedding dress matched my venue and it was so regal, I felt like a princess,” she shared. “Everyone I showed my dress to absolutely loved it, and many people unprompted told me how unique it was. That made me feel so happy since one of my hopes for the dress was that it would be unforgettable.”
Honoring Korean Wedding Tradition with a Beautiful Paebaek Ceremony at The Ebell of Los Angeles
In addition to their modern LA wedding ceremony, Jen and Chris honored Jen’s Korean heritage in a separate Paebaek ceremony with their family elders, friends, and bridal party. Traditionally, this ceremony is private but they allowed us all in to take photos and get a taste of this beautiful experience. Both the bride and groom wore traditional Hanboks for the intimate gathering, where they received blessings and wisdom from their elders. This meaningful piece added a layer of tradition and cultural significance to their day.

Fun Ways to Include Your Dogs in Your Wedding
If you’re looking for fun ways to get your pets involved in your wedding, pay close attention! Jane and Chris’ dog, Jackie, wasn’t just a guest — he was the Flower Bro! Before booking their venue, the couple made sure The Ebell of Los Angeles would allow them to include their furry family member in the ceremony in some way. They did!
Jackie donned a tiny tuxedo and joined the couple for portraits and the main ceremony. He wasn’t old enough to stay awake for the whole wedding, but the couple still found ways to ensure his presence was felt throughout the day — from custom signs at the bar reading “Drinks are on Jackie” to fan programs featuring his face. “We incorporated Jackie into as many designs and decorations as we could,” Jen said. “It was a nice way for him to be involved on our special day.”
In-N-Out Truck for the Win
As the reception rolled on, Jen and Chris made sure their guests were well-fed with an In-N-Out Burger truck — a nod to SoCal’s iconic food scene. “We knew we wanted the In-N-Out truck for our late night, because it is such an iconic SoCal food scene. We wanted our guests to be well-fed and personally, food is such a big part of weddings that we go to, so that was one of our priorities,” Jen shared. It was the perfect way to end the night, with guests enjoying their favorite burgers under the LA stars.
